La Bonne Chanson is excited to present an afternoon of French art songs, featuring the composers known as "Les Six" - Auric, Durey, Honegger, Milhaud, Poulenc, and Tailleferre.
This concert will feature Alyssa Anderson, Jake LaSota, Matthew McCright, Kristin Morant, Bill Pederson, and Julian Ward.

Open Doors Music Series Holiday Concert
                                                                                               Venture out to the South Metro area for an evening of holiday artsongs and traditional Christmas carols. Be sure to warm up your voice on the way over, the audience will be encouraged to join Alyssa Anderson, Kristin Morant, and Noelle Noonan in singing some favorite seasonal songs while Julian Ward leads the way on piano!

Mezzo-soprano Alyssa Anderson and classical guitarist Joseph Spoelstra will perform on the Minnesota Guitar Society's Local Artist Series. This concert will feature vocal music by Giuliani, Seiber, and Ascioti, and solo guitar pieces by So, Llobet, de Visee, Brouwer, and Mompou.

A special presentation of the artsongs of Henry Cowell, the father of American Music, as part of Zeitgeist's Early Music Festival: "Henry Cowell: American Pioneer." This concert/lecture will feature a range of his songs as well as commentary by the performers on Cowell's musical style and development as seen in his solo vocal music. Mezzo-soprano Alyssa Anderson will be joined by pianist Andrew Fleser for this exciting concert of very rarely heard music. Come for the songs, stay for the instrumental concert by Zeitgeist to follow at 7:30.
